Red or White Grapes bore me

Take a Spin with the Cotton Candy Grape
Think about this. When we buy grapes in many groceries there are two types, red and white? Kind of boring.
We don’t do that with apples. Think of all the varieties. We know there are many varieties of grape. Why just red and white at the store?
Grape eating is beginning to get interesting. Here is proof. Recently, I was leveled by the flavor of the Cotton Candy Grape. The name fits. It tastes amazingly like the spun delicacy of my county fair. The taste of sugar and vanilla in a grape is strange at first. It tastes just like cotton candy.
After some research I discovered it was achieve buy hybridizing. I was a little concerned about how this grape got to its flavor profile. After reading several articles I was cool with it.
It appears that the development takes years. Sometimes 5-10 years.
My family and I love “good grapes” for a snack. It’s nice when new flavors help keep us interested.
Keep an eye on the grapes at your store.
Thanks for reading.
