Sour Beer???

So just a quick word about sour beers. Evidently they’re starting to become popular and many people maybe have never tried one. Sour beer is a very specialized beer within the beer making ranks. Made by adding wild yeast or fruits the process can be very unpredictable. Our wine and beer guy, Gordo, paired an 1809 Berliner Weisse with an orange pound cake with rhubarb compote dessert we did the other night and it worked beautifully. For me this is a good beer with desserts but sipping isn’t too bad either. Try it with our Raspberry Rhubarb Tart recipe.
