We all have our favorites when it comes to snack foods. I know people that love burnt popcorn. My wife and our boss here at GE both love curly potato chips. I fall into the dark potato chip lover category. Opening a new bag gives me the opportunity to do a little mining for the rare dark, almost burnt chip. Now I realize that most chip companies try and avoid those burnt chips from getting into their bags but there are usually a couple that sneak their way past the scanners. Lucky for me. So you can imagine how excited I was when visiting Michigan on vacation and finding Rainbow Potato Chips from Better Made in Michigan. Why did I buy four bags? Because they’re all dark!!! Better Made sells entire bags of dark but not burnt chips…and I love them. They’re salty and slightly bitter and all you hope to find in one or two chips in a “normal” bag but there’s a whole bag. Awesome and delicious. Try them on their own or maybe dip them into the Green Goddess dressing recipe we posted this week. Anyway you have them is perfectly fine to me.
