What We Liked This Week: Truck Stop Special

So the boss poked the bear.  You know most of the time Joe and I try and pull in the reins a little and not go too over the top but this week was a little different.  When the CEO says he has a guest coming in for a breakfast meeting that grew up on a farm so can we not “froo froo it up” but go with a more “hearty” breakfast…well it’s game on.  So this is what we like this week.  We start off with a buttermilk biscuit split in half for the base.  Top it with some flat iron steaks that we country fried.  Topped that with cream gravy, fried potatoes and bacon and throw on some tomato so we don’t feel too guilty and there’s your hearty breakfast.  We recommend an aspirin chaser just to be safe.  Also for the record we noticed there were no members of the clean plate club afterwards.  Let’s do better next time.
