Is it easy to make Pastrami?

Want to make corned beef you buy at the grocery into Pastrami? It’s easy if you have a smoker.
My family and I love Corned beef. It only gets better if we get Pastrami. Warm Pastrami… There are few things better. The differences can vary between cuts and cures. I won’t get into that. Making pastrami at home is easy. I like to use a corned beef brisket at home to keep things simple. All you need to is season the corned beef with a pastrami spice rub then cook it in a smoker. The whole process took me 3.5 hours. Most of that is keeping an eye on the smoker. It’s a nice weekend project.
